ISO/IEC 27001 - Information Security Management System

An Information Security Management System (ISMS) is created according to the requirements of the ISO/IEC 27001 international standard.

It comprises protection of digital and non-digital data and information for your company.

Examples for the application and implementation of an ISMS include:

  • Power failure

  • Virus infection

  • Theft and fraud

  • Website intrusion

  • Unauthorized data access

Here are a few quick action tips for our visitors:

  • Do not leave your laptop in your car.

  • Do not allow only your IT administrator to know critical passwords.

  • Protect your data from sudden electricity outages.

  • Do not forget confidential documents on your desk.

  • Always protect or secure sensitive information from unauthorized access.

Information security comprises also the protection of personal data. The new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) has been approved by the EU Parliament. This Regulation lays down rules relating to the protection of natural persons with regard to personal data processing and the rules relating to the free movement of personal data. It has been in force since 25 May 2018 (see GDPR).
